I LOVE being over 40! I no longer fear the unknown, I embrace it. With this understand came the emotional maturity I did not have in my 20s or 30s. When I stopped concerning myself with the opinions of others, I became more passionate about the magic life brings. I am so excited for what my future still has in-store for me.
How do you stay fabulous?Retiring from the Navy was a difficult transition. I had to change my way thinking and learn new life skills. When I turned 44, I was taught a very important lesson. I learned “no” is not just a word, it is a sentence. Everything else is a suggestion. I stay fabulous by reducing the amount of stress in my life. I recently started Taekwondo and it has been an amazing additional to my routine for mental and physical health.
What would you do with the $40,000?Being fabulous over 40 means knowing exactly what you want. Here’s my plan: $12,000 to pay off my credit card debt $10,000 in an emergency fund $6,000 for a graduation trip for my family to Egypt $7,000 to my checking account $5,000 down payment on a new car
