We all want to stay young, but there really is something to be said about having the chance to grow old and live with the knowledge you gain over the decades. Having the capacity to reflect on areas you maybe could’ve done differently or better but knowing it all works out the way it’s supposed to

Honestly, I do lots of little things that add up. Yoga, mindfulness practice, some meditation, and self care practices. But mostly allowing myself to feel and heal through all life has thrown at me. It’s important to not let life hold you back or get you down. And finally I hold a strong belief that you are what you think. Think good thoughts and good comes to you. I watched my parents believe that getting old was inevitable and I remember thinking I would never let that happen to me.

I would give back to the individuals who helped guide me thru the darkest days of my life last year. A lot of people were there for me… knowingly and some unknowingly. For everyone who gave so much when I had nothing to give I would like to say thank you. And I would also use what is left to keep my rent paid and food on the table.
