I am 63 and I'm happily ME! A retired music teacher, I sing, dance, play clarinet, volunteer, travel, exercise and I LOVE LIFE!!

Honestly, I love the fact that I am still here!! Sadly over the years I have had friends and even a boyfriend (in his 20's) who have passed away and so I have always cherished each day that I am here. Remember....."Old age is a privilege denied to many" I know it may sound cliche, but the wisdom and the confidence and the life experiences (both good and bad) that I have acquired over these years have shaped my world for the better.
How do you stay fabulous?Fabulous is a state of mind! And......everything is relative!!! Each and every day upon upon awakening, I say "Thank-You" I truly believe that we have a choice as to how we feel. I have had my share of health issues and injuries and not each day is a bed a roses but we always have choices. Back in grade 6 we were taught the DESIDERATA. Very powerful and wise words that to this day I refer to. FRIENDS, LAUGHTER, LOVE......I am grateful!
What would you do with the $40,000?That is a good question!!! In fact, this contest is already part way thru and I am just actually taking the time today to look at this and ponder all the good that this contest brings. Honestly I am not sure what I would do for sure, but i think some travelling and working on my singing and dancing and helping others (especially animals) would put that money to good use!
