I am 43 and I enjoy serving high school youth at my church. I love Jesus and can’t believe how fabulous it feels to be over 40.

As a teen mom on my own in the world I was unsure of how I was going to provide for my son. While working as a bartender, I prayed for God to help me find a job with medical insurance because my son was struggling and I wasn’t working enough to qualify for benefits, over time I was able to overcome all obstacles when I realized that I wasn’t standing on my own, that I always had a home with God and I’m never alone. At 43 I’m able to share that absolute peace and love that only comes from God.
How do you stay fabulous?I feel healthier, stronger and more beautiful than I ever did in my 20s or 30s! God has given me life and blessed me with the privilege and opportunity to serve teen girls at church. Staying fabulous is not something you can do by working out, having money, or wearing makeup, it’s all on the inside. A connection and a personal relationship with God makes us fabulous because he wants us to be free from the distractions of the world that tell us that beauty is external. Love makes us beautifu!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would donate to lovelife.org to help teen moms who have chosen life and decided not to have an abortion who need financial support and also support orphans by helping them to connect with loving families. It’s not enough to say that you are pro choice or pro life, we need to take action in helping young mothers and children. Love is what makes us fabulous inside and out. I would also donate to a few of the high school girls who need financial support in my high school youth group.
