I am proud to say that I turned 60 in September. I recently lost 40 lbs and feel great! I laugh a lot & don’t take myself too seriously.

After 40, I began to stop caring what others thought and came to trust my own ideas and decisions. Each decade after 40, I have come to know a smart, confident, mature me! I’m comfortable in my own skin and truly like who I’ve become! At 54 I began my own jewelry making business, turning my hobby into a career. I also work part time with Alzheimer’s patients which truly is a blessing. It has taught me so much about aging gracefully and appreciating the life you’re given.
How do you stay fabulous?My body has gotten older, but somehow my thinking has not! I am fun loving, silly, and try to view life with a sense of humor. I surround myself with positive, supportive people that lift me up rather than bring me down. I work hard but also allow myself to have fun and goof off!
What would you do with the $40,000?I am a jewelry designer and about 6 years ago, I started up a little jewelry company. The $40,000 would definitely help shape and brand my business and help take it to the next level.
