What I love about being over 40 is the confidence and self-awareness I’ve gained. I no longer care what others think, which lets me set boundaries and communicate openly without being defensive. I try new things, unafraid to look silly, and I’m not easily offended. I’m comfortable in my own skin, present, and focused on serving others. As an extrovert, I thrive on connection, and being a positive influence. Over 40, I live authentically and inspire growth in others.
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous over 40 starts with taking care of myself—emotionally, mentally, and physically. As a cancer survivor, I know firsthand how precious life is, and that knowledge drives me to fully enjoy the time I have. I prioritize fun and create it not only for myself but for those around me. From staying active to nurturing my mind and spirit, I embrace every moment, knowing the importance of balance and self-care. It's that joy and vitality that keeps me feeling fabulous at any age.
What would you do with the $40,000?With $40,000, I would give back to the incredible staff who support breast cancer patients. During my own journey, they felt like personal cheerleaders, offering not just medical care but emotional support that truly uplifted me. I would use a portion of the funds to create wellness programs and appreciation events for these dedicated professionals, ensuring they feel valued and celebrated for the vital role they play. The remainder would go toward supporting life skills programs for children.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
