I take better care of my physical and mental health than ever, travel as much as I can, and have made enough money to now be my own boss.

I don't feel the need to prove myself or rise up the ladder anymore. I'm happy with me and what I bring (or don't ) to this world. I have people who love me for me and people who don't get me. That's ok. I was a teacher for 22 years and made some big impacts on various demographics of children. I love that and now I love taking a step back from that for my mental health. I have no shame in my successes and failures. I have lived a lot and learned a lot. After turning 40 I have embraced aging.
How do you stay fabulous?I have a good skincare routine, eat healthily, get enough sleep, and exercise daily. I try to stay away from drama, spread kindness, and keep it real. I get out of my comfort zone and recently made a big life change when I was not happy. I quit my teaching job of 19 years, sold my house of 17 years, and moved to new state. Travel keeps me open-minded and curious. I am happy and comfortable in my own skin, and my life choices nurture my soul and have brought me peace. Take risks!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would fix up my new home a bit and replenish my travel budget that I had to tap into to purchase my house. My travel bucket list is long and I have a trip to Italy planned in May. I would also invest some of it for my future self so that I can continue to grow and learn. Staying stagnant or too comfortable does not bring you wisdom.
