I am a compassionate/strong/independent woman. I work on being the best version of me: physically, emotionally, spiritually, intellectually.
We would like to thank you for supporting Julie Borman in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I love the wisdom and perspective I have gained. I love watching what my children have overcome and the amazing people they are becoming. I love the opportunity to help women going through difficulties that I’ve experienced. I love the knowledge I’ve gained over the years along with the patience and perspective I have now. I love the diverse friendships I have, the things they have taught me, and how we support each other. I lost my mom to cancer and live my life to make my mom proud.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by keeping my life balanced. I participate in daily exercise - cycling, elliptical, swimming, and hiking. I eat healthy food and avoid unhealthy habits. I spend time reading all kinds of books and staying informed about the world around me. I take special care of my skin, wear sunscreen, and keep myself hydrated. I also stay fashion relevant. I made a promise to my mom that I would get my annual mammograms- especially because she had breast cancer.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would finally be able to go back to school for my masters degree - my dream since college. I would open up a practice and be able give support, guidance, and hope to those suffering with addiction - or someone they love who is suffering. I would do what I can to make a difference in my community and beyond.
