A breast cancer diagnosis and subsequent double mastectomy back in October led to where I am today. A thriving pro photographer, Mom & G’ma

I just turned 68 in September and though I had a rough road last year (one year from breast cancer diagnosis) I’m doing fantastic! I’m back at work in my professional photography business and going strong juggling non-stop amazing and fun jobs as well as helping my kids and their six grandkids. My loves…My age has never mattered I may have a few more wrinkles but I’m still rocking my long blonde locks and feeling fab!
How do you stay fabulous?I love my work and will never slow down though I do want to now spend more time with my friends and family. I do it all and embrace my age because every decade since turning 40 has been a new and wonderful adventure! I take time to walk six miles a day to keep my body and mind in shape and I sit on the Board of Directors of a prostate cancer foundation. Giving back feeds my soul so all these things combined keep me my version of fabulous.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would put a down payment on a house. I was married for 22 years and lived in the house that my husband owned and he never let me forget it. I am divorced and live in a beautiful apartment complex, but would love a place to call my own. Just this morning my six year old grandson, opened his piggy bank and counted his money, looked up at me and said grandma “I’m saving to buy you a house”.. 💜
