I always looked at women who were older and wondered how they seemed to have it all together. They’ve figured out how to stay fit. They seemed happy and fulfilled. Now that I am turning 48, I finally understand it. At this age, a woman develops a send of confidence and self-acceptance that is empowering!
How do you stay fabulous?Having a clearer sense of what I want in life leads me to more fulfilling relationships and life choices. There is a “richness” that comes from experiences- both the highs and the lows- that adds depth to one’s perspective. I’ve been using this time to explore new interests and passions!
What would you do with the $40,000?I have dedicated my life to two main platforms thus far- developing healthy minds and bodies. A healthy body is important in fighting the obesity epidemic, and a healthy mind is at the forefront of violence prevention. I would use this money to bring additional programs to the School District in which I teach.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
