What I love about being over 40 is having the time to self-actualize and truly focus on myself. After having devoted most of my life to my family and raised two children, who are both successful adults, I’ve now had the opportunity to put myself first again and make my dreams come true. Despite the challenges and ups and downs, I have immense gratitude, because it fueled the woman I am today. I focus on my health and longevity every day, do the things I love, spend time with my children.
How do you stay fabulous?I spend time every day on my physical, mental, and spiritual fitness which are fundamental to feeling whole, inspired and motivated. I nurture a strong social circle. Dancing, music, fashion, art, cooking and my child-like curiosity for the world around and beyond me keep me always trying and learning something new. I wholeheartedly respect the role models I look up to and strive to learn from them ensuring that I continue to grow both personally and professionally.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would spend the 40K in a few different ways. I’d love to continue my growth, so I’d invest part of it into myself and part of it on my family. I’d travel with my children to a spot we’ve never been. I’d love to have a tennis coach (it’s a long-time dream for me to have a professional tennis coach, so I can perfect my skills), and visit a major tennis tournament like the US Open. Then eventually I’d hope I’d have some left over to spend on a statement fashion piece and put toward my home.
