I’m more grounded in who I am - as a mother, a wife, a friend. I don’t question myself and I listen to my gut instincts. I know more and I do better for myself, my daughter and my community. Having been diagnosed with stage 2 triple negative breast cancer at the age of 46 has opened my eyes and soul to an even deeper meaning of life and what it means to really live.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by being with the people that make my heart smile and my cheeks hurt from laughter. Fabulous to me means being a good human being, giving back to my community, taking care of myself AND a bold red lip, gold hoop earrings and some mascara. Any day. Any outfit.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would divide it to pay off some utility bills, start my daughters college fund, save some for post cancer treatment healthcare costs and I would donate to various grassroots organizations.
