I love the confidence, foresight, and wisdom that has come with being over 40. I look in the mirror and celebrate the beautiful, smart, kind woman I have become. I’m grateful to be able to share my life experiences to help educate and uplift other women.
How do you stay fabulous?For physical health, I exercise regularly (walking, lifting weights, Pilates) & maintain a healthy diet. My skin care regimen includes retinol & Vit C & regular visits to my aesthetician for microneedling with USRF. I also learned how to apply makeup. For mental health, I rely heavily on my faith. I have also learned the power of giving grace. Extending grace to others can help alleviate stress, anger, and anxiety. I also find time to do the things I enjoy versus always trying to please others.
What would you do with the $40,000?Fighting breast cancer is my passion. My grandmother who raised me died of breast cancer. I’m a hair salon owner & I’m working with a breast surgeon to start a wig line for cancer survivors. Health insurance will cover the cost of the wigs, so women won’t have to pay out of pocket. I would use the money to purchase a wig inventory & hire staff to set up medical billing. I want to help women feel beautiful & confident after beating cancer so they can live with dignity & thrive- not just survive.
