Being over 40 has definitely been my favorite era in my life so far. I feel as a woman you become confident about who you are and recognize self- acceptance. I have a vision of my priorities and what truly matters most in life. The relationships you developed are deeper and richer which has been guided by my life experiences. I had my children in my early 20's so now being in my 40's I have started to focus on my own happiness, health and mental wellbeing.
How do you stay fabulous?I think it comes down to confidence and acceptance. I have a clear sense of values, style and what makes me happy. I focus on my mental health and exercising. I try and surround myself with people who have the same values and try to avoid negativity of others. I reflect on my experiences and reflect on what I have learned from each situation.
What would you do with the $40,000?My life took at twist in the last 2 years when I learned that my husband of nearly 25 years was having an affair. I would definitely invest it and plan for my future. I would take a small portion and treat my dad, son (his girlfriend), daughter (her boyfriend) to something special, as they have been my biggest supporters over the last 2 years, they have shown so much grace and maturity.
