Intelligent, interesting, sassy, well travelled, volunteer work to help others less fortunate than myself.
We would like to thank you for supporting Johanna Wray in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I love the freedom. I'm quite a bit over forty. My children are successful adults, now I get to concentrate on me! Fulfill my own dreams. Last March I was a volunteer teacher in Ghana. You have to do something in your retirement to keep yourself interested in life and interesting to others.
How do you stay fabulous?I exercise and eat right. Get plenty of sleep. Stay away from alcohol and cigarettes. Try to buy some current clothing every season. I am an artist, so I continue to paint to create balance in my life. I give generously to the underprivileged. I listen to people when they talk to me and I wear a smile on my face. I am very approachable.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would continue my volunteer teaching work and spread that money around in the remote village where I teach in Ghana. There is no running water there, no bathroom at the school either. I would help with clean drinking water for the village, washrooms for the schools, and give a scholarship to a deserving student for their university education. The money would be used to help these underprivileged people.
