The freedom from worries about the judgement of others. Am I wearing the most current hairstyle, are my clothes the latest trend, the numbers in the scale went up. These things that consume so much of our time when we are younger give way to what is it that I like? What do I feel best in and what makes me feel beautiful versus what makes me beautiful in the eyes of anyone else!
How do you stay fabulous?It's definitely more of a challenge to make time for yourself when you have a family to care for and responsibilities to meet, but carving out a little bit of "comfort care", whether is a new manicure, a new hair color that makes you feel refreshed and fab. Even just a self care night at home with my 12 year old doing a mask, a deep condition and some new skincare help to rejuvenate and pamper ourselves!
What would you do with the $40,000?With a HS senior this year and college costs on the horizon, it would help greatly for sure, and we very, very much want to be able to take a family trip together this summer. Something memorable and special for us to savor the family time we have left together before this change, and our son heads off to start his own journey. As excited as we are to see what amazing things his future holds, we want to soak up all of this time as family of four, to make all the memories!
