That my 30 yr old Doc Martens are now fashionable. Recognizing; being imperfect is perfection, I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, nurturing oneself is not being selfish, my body is my vessel & I need to honor it, my parents were right when they said 1 day you’ll understand, I don’t know what I don’t know, it’s the little moments that are lasting moments, living in the present moment & savoring & appreciating the moment is priceless & most importantly my unconditional love for my family and friends.
How do you stay fabulous?As a soon to be sassy 60 year old -Being true to myself. surrounding myself with positive people. Embracing my flaws & idiosyncrasies & slaying those that are harmful to others and myself. By being curious , asking questions, seeking to understand & pursuing new experiences. Recognizing & acknowledging that all women are fabulous in their own unique way. Fabulousness is not defined by age, it comes from within.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would rent a cabin and invite my family & closest friends to a celebration of life . A celebration to share memories, experiences, lifetime achievements, tributes, roasting & toasting that express: thank you, I love you,, remember when .. A focus on life & a celebration of life . And I would donate $ to the Mucosal Melanoma (MM) Warriors Foundation which raises awareness of this extremely rare cancer that is just beginning to get looked at for research.
