I’m a breast cancer survivor and struggle with Lupus, but still manage to run my own business, teaching and selling art.

Being over 40 I am much more confident and don’t care about being judged by others as much as I did when I was younger. Now I’m comfortable in my own skin and open to new experiences. Surviving breast cancer has made me face many realities, so I truly appreciate time with friends and family. This year I went on an amazing two week tour of Italy and it was a transformative experience. I studied the language so I could speak with people and be fully immersed. Being over 40 is a blast!
How do you stay fabulous?I enjoy yoga, light weights, dance, and walking to feel energized and fabulous. Makeup, skincare, and long baths are part of my self care routine. I love colorful, fun clothing and often shop at vintage shops. My favorite shop puts on charity fashion shows that I participate in every year. I love dressing up and strutting on the catwalk! Staying fabulous also means staying positive so I make time to laugh and schedule quality time with friends or watch a good movie with my husband.
What would you do with the $40,000?My dream is to live in Italy at least for part of the year. I have family there and I’m a dual citizen so I’m determined to make this dream happen! This prize money would go a long way towards making this dream a reality. I’d also like to donate some money to breast cancer research.
