I love that I have spent a life of learning lessons and identifying the positives in everything; even on a very bad day. There is always 10% validity in everything we do, idea we share, or interaction we have with others. Being over 40 means that I have learned to give myself permission to say no; be my authentic self and prioritize who I want to spend my precious time with. I love that I can openly say "while I appreciate your views/opinions, I respectfully disagree."
How do you stay fabulous?SELF-CARE! I am a huge advocate for and I teach all my clients the importance of self-care. My favorite thing to tell people is "you have to take care of yourself first! If you can't fill your own cup, you can't pour into other people." And when I say self-care, it can be anything from having a simple 'no' day (where everything is a no unless I WANT to do it) to a complete spa day (when the budget allows for it).
What would you do with the $40,000?I could do so many things with 40k. But truthfully, I would probably pay off my vehicle because I am so upside down and it would go a long way to pay it off; then I would book a 7 or 10-day cruise for just me and my husband because we've never had a true honeymoon after 22+ years of marriage. And if there is anything left, I would either pay off my last credit card or split the money between my kids to go towards their education.
