I can finally embrace feeling beautiful and sexy, despite aging. I spent too much of my life believing bullies, who’s hurtful words made me feel small and never good enough. In my 40s it’s like I’ve removed my blinders. I no longer accept others’ criticisms or feel any shame about my looks. I feel confident and I finally know my worth. I always want to show up as my most authentic self. I have allowed fear to hold me back from living my dreams for too long. I feel braver now to take more risks.

Focusing more on my dreams inspires me to do more to inspire others. I love uplifting and encouraging others, especially women. I prioritize my self-care, even when the stress of work and life make it feel impossible to do so. I no longer tear myself down and instead I focus on the positives. I have an amazing husband and we love to travel; we even aim to move to Europe in the not too distant future. My friends and family keep me sane and grounded; they are my support, my heart, my everything.

I would invest in building a brand that focuses on breaking down barriers between beauty and ageism. My brand mission is to uplift and support women with the narrative that aging isn’t scary, ugly or negative. We are still beautiful, relevant, and can take risks at any age; it’s never too late to go after our dreams. I aspire to build my brand up to one day fulfill my dream of being a working model. I wish to inspire women by showing that age is just a number and we can break any glass ceiling.
