I love that I do not feel 40!! I still feel like I am in my 20s until I am around 20-something women... and then I feel much older, wiser, and content. I like that feeling of contentment. Like, I don't have to TRY as hard. I get to truly embrace who I am as a woman, friend, mother, and wife—being 44 is not what I expected. For some reason, when I was younger, 40 felt so OLD. I look at 40 now like it's the new 30's! I am in a better place, mentally and financially, and it's fantastic!!
How do you stay fabulous?I work on my mental health daily! I also continue to learn. I am always trying to learn something. Right now, I am working on learning more about digital marketing. I have a podcast where I interview people and learn from them, and I take classes in all kinds of things so I can grow and keep my mind sharp. I also drink tons of water, exercise, and journal daily, and have never smoked, which helps a lot. Mostly, I smile, stay kind, and happy; Those are where beauty stems.
What would you do with the $40,000?Well, I would pay off some debt that stresses me every week. Then, I would book a trip for my husband and me. I would save most of it so I can help my kids. Times are tough, and money is not easily made anymore.
