I love the wisdom the new understanding of life’s that come with being over 40. I love the confidence that makes us who we are, I love the shift in our bodies that push up to do daily self care.
How do you stay fabulous?By checking in with myself daily, as each day inspires us to be better. I stay fabulous by only doing what makes me happy such as hiking, swimming in the ocean, going out dancing, alone time in Mother Nature, & of course spending quality time time my 4 sons.
What would you do with the $40,000?Being a traveling traditional Midwife in my East Los Angeles community I have put my own housing aside, staying at my mother’s due to my high demand on call birth schedule I was never home, so it felt better to be close by to my family that can support me. Altough throughout the years my birth schedule has slowed down & me traveling has taken a toll on me. My vision is to invest these funds for a permanent housing so that I can work from home, & provide more services & workshops for my commu.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
