Being fabulous over 40 is not just about a tiny waistline, or a closet full of designer clothes, although it would be cool. To me, the greatest joys come from looking back on all my hardships and realizing I'm a warrior. I am a proud mother to 4 and I enjoy seeing them blossom into kind adults. I get to wake up every day and know that I had a part in that. I got to walk my first born son down the aisle and stare deeply into the eyes of my new grandbaby. 40 means I've lived and I'm wiser for it.
How do you stay fabulous?I work out almost daily. I'm not in optimal shape by any means, but I try. Any movement is better than no movement. I want to be alive long enough to enjoy my grandbabies. I love to write and find solice in words. To me kindness is the best form of fabulous you can find, which I display in abundance. Work can be quite stressful, but I am an over-achiever. I believe that hard work and good work ethics builds character and although your job does not define you, it certainly strengthens you.
What would you do with the $40,000?Winning the $40,000 would be life changing! I mentioned before that I endured many hardships in my life. I had a very humble upbringing and several family members with mental illnesses. My daughter also suffered from depression and suicidal thoughts, so the fact that I now work for a psychiatry clinic that helps people overcome their demons speaks volumes! I would want to give back. Mental health is just as important as medical health, but with less resources.
