I love being 50~ I love the credibility it offers; when I speak, people naturally realize I've lived and learned. I thrive in the knowledge that the petty don't matter and the small smiles and wins do. I cherish the confidence I own to pursue each decision. The circle of women with whom I connect has become a token; a prize of age, sharing their own wisdom and experience.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous not using words like "girl boss" or "boss babe" and only positive terms of equality; always lifting up others. I maintain a healthy yet not restricting lifestyle and spend time with only those who share likeminded enthusiasm and zeal. Time spent with my 13 year old daughter reminds me to not self depracate and to love our bodies, minds, and souls.
What would you do with the $40,000?This summer, my mother had major heart surgery. My father passed away the same day. My daughter had spinal fusion surgery with segments of 3 ribs removed. These were gifts as my dad is no longer in pain, mom no longer at risk, & Georgia with a titanium straight spine. The $40,000.00 would replenish savings spent to take time off. Potentially, we'd also be able to take a girl's trip, too! (my daughter said she'd buy me a car with it ;))
