I love being the age I am. I’ve raised my daughters and have accomplished big goals, and I'm still young enough to truly enjoy life. Life can be so stressful when you’re young, raising kids, working long hours and multiple jobs, and paying bills.. That was the 20’s and 30’s me, and I did those things for the most part as a single mom. I wouldn’t trade it for anything - it taught me extremely valuable lessons, especially with my faith, family, friends, and finances.
How do you stay fabulous?Self-care! I love skin care, facials, massages, working out, going to the beach, taking time for myself, and meditating. These things make me feel good, happy, and confident. How I feel on the inside definitely shows on the outside. Being healthy and confident are beautiful qualities.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would help some single moms I know who really struggle. I’ve been in their shoes, and it’s not a happy place. I’ve also got some law school-related expenses that I’d love to pay off. Taking my family on a nice trip is also at the top of my list. I’d probably also pick up some new outfits and shoes for my new role as an attorney., as well.
