What I love about being over 40 is I am no longer afraid of turning 40, and it's not nearly as horrible as I thought it was going to be. The lessons I've learned on my journey to get here although some very difficult and heartbreaking, have shaped me into the strong, compassionate, force to be reckoned with that I am today. I love the new found confidence in myself and my abilities. I know that I am smart, kind, and I have a voice and I matters. I love my story!
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous best by listening to myself and my feelings, and doing things that I enjoy! I try to keep my head held high and keep putting one foot in front of the other one day at a time, because today is all we have. Music soothes my soul, I listen to it loud and sing at the top of my lungs, the lyrics tell my story. I hold my babies tight and love them with all my might, they are my world and loving them is my reason for life and my reason to be fabulous, and they remind me I am loved.
What would you do with the $40,000?With the $40,000 I would first donate to the Drowning Prevention Alliance. In 2012 I lost my 19 month old son to drowning. An accident and tragedy that shook my whole world and shaped who I am today! I want to work with officials around the world, have a stand in multiple areas with prevention/awareness packets and i dream of providing free life jackets for all children. No parent should have to pay to save the life of their child, and no one should have to endure the pain of loosing one!
