Often as the only minority in the boardroom, I’ve cultivated a deep sense of self-empowerment through years of navigating challenging spaces. I’ve built the resilience to face obstacles head-on, the wisdom to stand firmly in my values, and the confidence to voice my opinions—even when uncomfortable. Embracing life over 40 has taken faith, discipline, and self-care, and it hasn’t been without the growing pains that only come with age.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous at 40 by focusing on three key areas: health, wealth, and home. I prioritize fitness, healthy eating, and self-care to stay strong. I manage my career and finances wisely, creating opportunities for future security. At home, I foster a loving environment for my kids and myself, balancing comfort with meaningful connections. These areas all intertwined—when I care for my health, I excel at work, building wealth that supports my home and lays the foundation for future generations.
What would you do with the $40,000?Very simple - I would continue investing in my start-up which is a curated network of women and women-owned businesses helping other women to excel in their health, wealth, and home. Having successfully done that with my other start-up, giftbar.com, I'm confident in making my new site more than a site but a proactive women's movement to empower themselves.
