Life doesn't end at 40: After a violent assault that nearly cost me my life I got a degree, raised my kids, started a career rebuilt my life

I love being over 40 during a time when there are so many advances in healthcare, mental and emotional healing resources, and ways to keep your physical appearance youthful. I have two daughters, ages 32 and 28 and a 19 year old son. The girls and I enjoy many of the same things, concerts, pedicures, good hair and staying healthy both inside and out. I started college and a new career at 40. I love that I am capable, able and stronger because of my journey after 40.
How do you stay fabulous?It took many years to heal my mind and my spirit after years of abuse during both my marriages. I have remained single long enough to work on myself, truly loving and liking who I am. It was tough to be a single mom of 3 with a lot of medical, financial, and physical challenges but we made it. I continue to work on myself every day inside and was able to start working on the outside after my son left for the Army last year,, focusing on finding the resources for self-care and staying healthy.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would pay $20k to pay off my, and my girls' debt for a fresh start and put $5000 in a fund for my son in the Army as they don't pay well but he has sacrificed so much for all of us, and our country. I would then put a down payment on my own home. That is my last dream for myself. I have not owned a home since my last marriage and have pulled myself up from the ground financially. I am not going to give up until I purchase a home of my own. A place of comfort and love for all my family.
