Hello, My name is Jennifer, I’m a 46 year mom of 3 beautiful girls, a wife, an OT & proud owner of Long Island Hand therapy.
We would like to thank you for supporting Jennifer DeFeo Bily in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I would say Increased Confidence. Im comfortable in my own skin. I have had time to learn who I am and what I want out of life to make myself happy. I like that I now have quality relationships with family, friends and my husband. I have financial and personal independence, allowing for more freedom to pursue my hobbies and new adventure's. Over the years I have “matured” and I can approach situations with a broader perspective, making it easier to navigate through the ups and downs.
How do you stay fabulous?Balance! It wasn’t easy and took many years but I’m in a good place with family and work that I can now enjoy “me time”. I love that I can do what I want with my time, workout, lunches with friends, dates with my husband, or just quiet time watching tv. “My time” has become an essential part of my schedule. My husband jokes around from time to time saying “ I don’t want to infringe on your alone time”. So glad he is understanding!
What would you do with the $40,000?This is an easy answer. I would upgrade my office equipment. Owning an out-patient practice is not cheap or easy. This money would be a great help. With the remaining, I would put it in my girls college fund. They usually take all my money anyway. #momlife
