After turning 50, I noticed that life is lived in the small everyday moments. Cooking dinner, walking the dog, piddling around the house, can make the best moments, if you make a second to enjoy the elegance in the simplicity. I have taught my self to appreciate the slowing down of everyday life. Time goes by so fast, it’s fleeting constantly. As I grow older, the quiet is more sought after than the crowd. I don’t get lonely or board or restless. I love being content. For this I am grateful.
How do you stay fabulous?By cultivation. I read ALot. I learn everyday. I believe in high heels but will walk barefooted when they hurt my feet. I love to dress to the 9’s but can feel sexy in a pair of cut off shorts, a t-Shirt, and a ponytail. My secret weapon is confidence and practicing self love on the reg. My Motto: No body loves me like I do
What would you do with the $40,000?If I won 40k… I would rent an apartment in Paris or Rome for a month. And live like a local…. Or at least try too. Definitely splurge on a pair of Christian Loubou’s. Book a great hair cut and color with a celebrity stylist. Pay some bills and put the rest in savings. And of course kick my 10% to the man upstairs.
