My 40s were my favorite decade. Now that I'm newly 54, I continue to grow more comfortable in my skin. I have a new perspective on what is important and what is not, and I endeavor to focus on those truly important and fulfilling aspects. I seek to live an intentional life and have an impact on the world instead of letting time slide by willy-nilly.
How do you stay fabulous?Of course, living with a self no longer considered youthful is more challenging. Balance is key, where I practice self-care and beauty regimens while accepting that I will never look exactly like I did in my twenties. There is nothing wrong with that. The body that I have now has experienced many things, good and bad, and it has gotten me where I am today. I feel loved by my family, friends, and many of my students over the years.
What would you do with the $40,000?One of my beloved dogs is sick, so the money would help with the expenses she is incurring. I would also donate a portion to HSUS, where I volunteer as a district volunteer leader.
