I love that I am in a place where I can authentically be myself and I no longer live for the approval of others. As long as I have the approval of God, and I can lay my head on the pillow at night without any regrets, I am good.
How do you stay fabulous?I live my life doing my best to show others love. I try to treat people as equals, no matter what society may say. I have been through enough in life to know that everyone has a story, and most people are just doing their best with what they’ve been given. I feel like I’ve been given so many chances to do better in life that I want to pay it forward.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would give a portion to an organization I work for called First Fruit. Its mission is to alleviate homelessness and human trafficking in Wilmington, NC. I would also put a portion aside as an emergency fund for anything life may throw my way, and I’d take a small amount and throw a party for all the people that have walked in the trenches with me in life and helped me get to where I am today.
