What I love about being over 40 is that I finally know who I am! In your 20s you don’t know anything by 30 you think you know and then real life hits and you think of yourself differently. At 42 I am experienced and seasoned! I know who I am and I love that.
How do you stay fabulous?I like to take time to myself I believe in self love and care. Spending time on not only your outer beauty but your mental health brings a feeling of revitalization.
What would you do with the $40,000?I own a herbal tea company and from that I started a women’s empowerment group called Jelani’s Tea Party Club. I want to have tea parties to raise money for our younger “sisters”. A dream of mine is that this group donate scholarships to women in need. And let’s not forget about our elderly women my hope from this group is that theses women always have a friend to help them and come talk to them when they have no one. In turn this generation could teach us so much about being women.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
