What I love about being over 40 is the clarity that comes with truly knowing myself. At this stage, I’m my own priority, and being authentic is key to finding joy. There’s a balance between who I was and who I want to become, and I’ve learned to embrace the journey with patience. It’s no longer about rushing—it’s about purpose, self-compassion, and making intentional choices. This is a time of feeling grounded, empowered, and fully present in my life.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by balancing both my business and my health and wellness. I once weighed over 300 pounds, and now I’m at my healthiest, constantly working towards a healthy mind and body. Cooking delicious, healthy meals is a huge part of my journey, and I believe in indulging every now and then because balance is key. Staying fabulous means taking care of myself from the inside out and enjoying the process along the way.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use some of the $40,000 to give back. SimplyLead is our social consultancy that seeks to create the change we wish to see in the world, so supporting the community and donating would be ideal. I’d also invest in my continued professional growth to keep evolving as the best badass Latina business owner I can be. This money would allow me to further my impact while empowering others and myself along the way.
