I love the fact that now that I am in my Fifties and recently semi-retired I can write my own rules. I am no longer seeking the affirmation of others for my career choices or for the way I choose to live my life. I have the experience and knowledge about myself and my strengths and I have learned to play to my strengths rather than focusing on my weaknesses. I have through my hard work throughout my life earned the luxury to live my next 50 years the way that I choose.
How do you stay fabulous?I focus on balance and a 360 degree approach to health, fitness & nutrition. I practice sports avidly, combining weightlifting 2 times a week with Pilates on the reformer with private trainers who are accustomed at working with Women in my age group. I have found this to be beneficial as they understand the needs of Women in this age group and I have achieved exceptional results with them. I also regularly consult with a nutritionist not for weight loss but for eating for optimal health.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use the part of the 40K to launch the Luxury Travel Business that I am looking to set up focused on Female Executives and designing Luxury Wellness Journeys for them so that they can learn from my experience and I can at the same time pursue my passion. I would use another part of the funds to Travel a Luxury Spa in Europe which has always been a dream of mine. I would combine this with some cultural travel to Spain or Italy which are my two favourite countries for shopping.
