I’ve been over 40 for 14 years now and must say, I’ve never felt better! At 54, I remain active with running and enjoying life with my fam.

Turning 40 was one of my best years. After having a career, balancing work and motherhood, the 40’s taught me true resilience. I made many changes in my life after 40, including leaving a negative marriage and going back into the corporate workforce after a 5-year leave to stay at home with my young children. I also joined run clubs and began competing in many different 5, 6 and 10k races - including a 1/2 marathon. I was proud to be the winner of multiple 1st in age group races.
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous has been my everyday goal throughout my life. It is with thanks to my loving family and friends and 2 pups who help me each day. Staying close to my faith has gotten me through some difficult parts of life’s journey. I am also passionate about helping others, in some way each day - this I learned from my beloved Mother as she modeled this every day. I’m actually dedicating this to her as she passed away earlier this year. And, she taught me that it’s essential to laugh everyday!
What would you do with the $40,000?If I were fortunate to win, I would put aside funds to assist my children with the purchase of their first home, donate to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and put away the rest for retirement - which I hope to enjoy with my children and hopefully grandchildren one day!
