In my 40s, I found the confidence and courage to transform my life. After 18 years in one career, I took a leap of faith to pursue a new path at 43—one that gives me true purpose. I got married at 40, became a mother at 42, and am now graduating college at 47. I’m unstoppable, embracing every challenge and opportunity. My journey proves that it’s never too late to chase dreams, reinvent yourself, and live a life full of passion and purpose. My 40s are just the beginning!
How do you stay fabulous?I prioritize self-care. 'You can’t take care of anyone, unless you first take care of yourself.' I do Yoga, Pilates, and Lagree. I enjoy walking with my daughter and dog. Family time fills my cup. I’m surrounded by supportive friends. I’m diligent with skincare, skin treatments, and SPF. I take supplements, eat well, and do hormone therapy. Mental health is vital. Always learning. My spiritual practice includes daily gratitude, reading, and therapy, keeping me balanced in mind, body, and soul.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use the $40,000 to pay off my student loans and to cover airfare and lodging for my husband, daughter, and me to attend my graduation ceremony at Purdue University in Indiana in May (we live in CA). I want my daughter to watch me graduate, showing her that it’s never too late to chase your dreams.
