I love being intentional about staying more fit and seeking more knowledge, so the best of all worlds. I am thinking more clearly and feeling an energy level that continues to increase. I embrace being over 40 for how the saying goes, “like fine wine I’m getting better with time.” I always celebrate my birthday for at least a month because getting older definitely beats the alternative. I love talking with the clientele I book to come to the museum for tours, which are a lot of senior groups.
How do you stay fabulous?What I know is the main thing that helps me to stay fabulous is to focus on being positive. I work for an art museum seeking donations. My approach to life is like my position at work, “I expect to receive whatever I request by making my offer feel like more than what I'm asking.” It gets me what I need to keep building my confidence and gives others what they want to reach philanthropic goals. Life can have challenges but I know that my response to anything gives me the results I’ll receive.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would help a friend in need who recently had some financial challenges and lost her home. She could also use a spa-cation as my plus one that would help her to reset and recharge. The pandemic forced me to become unemployed for a while. I am working on paying off some unwanted debt of my own before I will be in a position to retire. I am going to select a family to help who is in need during the holidays, like I’ve done every year. When I give it’s more rewarding for me knowing they are happy.
