Janett martinez

I’m just a regular woman, single mom, living day by day, learning, growing, loving, & just trying to live in the present moment.

What do you love about being over 40?

I love that I know what I want but it doesn’t mean I know everything. I’m still growing and will do so throughout my lifetime but if there’s one thing I love is the beauty of being good and being able to do things on my own and living a life as full of love as possible but it doesn’t mean I don’t go through rough patches. Moments that make me doubt myself at times as if not doing enoughbut it’s those hard moments that you grow and learn and become smarter and stronger, even if they are painful.

How do you stay fabulous?

That’s a tough question because the obvious answers are gym time, motherhood, spending time alone, being organized but the truth is some if not most days is just pushing through, cry it out, love it out, and do my best. Sounds easier said than done. It takes work.

What would you do with the $40,000?

Oh wow so many things come to mind but I think the first thing I’d take my elderly mom on a trip somewhere which I haven’t been able to do. Oh and I’ll go see snow which I’ve never seen. I know!! lol I’d also put hurricane impact windows in my home. I currently have the ones you role to open, very old school, AC air leaks out and I’m pretty sure a hurricane will have them fly off. I live in Florida and this last hurricane I found myself trying to put up shutters that weren’t even a fit.
