Settling into who I am and not concerning myself with external noise. Paying attention to my body and investing in its wellbeing, greater confidence in my professional knowledge and style. Strong relationships with friends and family who reciprocate support and love. Overall it is a time in life when you can pause and reflect on what works for you and how you want to spend your second act. It’s exciting and filled with potential while having more time and resources to make things happen.
How do you stay fabulous?The key is to make choices that lead to memorable moments. This summer I accompanied a friend on a long open water swim which I had never done before. Such fun and loved setting this adventurous example for my children. I also started to learn how to compete in triathlons - just short distances but so exciting and keeps me healthy. As well - we live in a beautiful place - so as a family we try to spend as much time enjoying our Island. We swim in the ocean, hike, sail, and eat well.
What would you do with the $40,000?Dream family ski vacation and invest in upgrades to our family cottage so it can be enjoyed by many. I also volunteer with a few great organizations and would leverage some funding into a donation or fundraising initiative.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
