At this point in my life, I have been through the good, bad, ugly, disappointment and have triumphed over many challenges I never thought I would ever encounter. You can be honest with yourself, accept who you are and be grateful to live another day.
How do you stay fabulous?Always find time for yourself! no matter how small or insignificant you may think it is. Read a book, clean, cook, go for a run/walk, take a trip alone, organize a closet/drawer. Stay connected with your friends and people who love you. Have no filters and always be your authentic self. Number #1 enjoy your own company and live a healthy lifestyle. You don't have to be extreme just aware of what you eat and maintain a physically active lifestyle.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use this award to purchase my own home. Ever since my husband passed away in 2021, I have not been able to find something that I can truly call my own. It would also be a sanctuary where my children, family and friends can visit without any judgement and a safe place to be themselves. I personally understand the feeling of not belonging or fitting in.
