I’m 58. I got my Bachelor’s in History at U.T. Texas at age 50! I’ve published 3 novels under the name of Isabela Pamelli Martins.

I love knowing myself so well, better than ever. I think I'm in GREAT shape ( physically, mentally, emotionally, intellectually...) for my age ---which is 58, and even though I am hypothyroid , I am full of positive energy, vitality, curiosity and optimism. I was married twice, I am happily childfree and live with my dog, Cello, a rescued Chihuahua/dashhunt mix with a broken tail. I haven't given up on love yet , but I'm happy living alone and make the most of what I've got. Carpe Diem!
How do you stay fabulous?I work out everyday at my condo, either by swimming with my noodle, or at its gym. I live on the 3rd floor and although there is an elevator, I never use it. I take Cello out for a walk at least 4 times a day and we always take the stairs and RUN upstairs! His vet tells me that we're BOTH in great shape...lol I read everyday, I watch the wolrd news (from different countries and in different languages since I'm a language teacher) to keep myself well infomed and I meditate.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would go on a cruise along the Norwegian Fjords, with stops in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the UK. I would do some updates on my condo, buy a new stove and fridge... I would pay off my car loan. I would send some financial help to my dad in Brazil ( who is 91 and mostly bedridden) and his wife, so they can live more comfortably and he can get better care than he does at present.
