What I love most about being over 40 and over 50 is trusting my discernment more. It allows me to say no when it is best for me. My time is even more precious than ever before. As a result, I stay a shorter time or do not engage in spaces not designed for me. I have worked hard on myself to only want to be where I am appreciated and celebrated. I am grateful to be able to learn from my journey and use that information to inform how I connect to others and contribute to my legacy.
How do you stay fabulous?Ha! How do I stay fabulous? I do this by loving and embracing my most natural self. It is important to me to feel good in my own skin and body. I love yoga, however, I haven’t been to a studio in a while. I do not have great work out tips. Two other contributors: A daily walk to be with nature and speak to God & work through my thoughts is great for me. Music, laughter and good friends who allow me to relax in my body are another important way I stay fabulous. My son in college is a joy mirror.
What would you do with the $40,000?I have been on a reclaiming myself journey for the past 2 years. After a divorce-I am putting my life back together. I run a small interior design business that needs to be reimagined. I would use the funds to invest in the condo I secured for my son and myself. I would start a youtube channel to share starting over at any age and affordable, fabulous design tips (especially after downsizing). This money would help the legacy I intend to leave.
