In my 50s, I embrace every challenge and opportunity with energy and resilience. With over 2 decades as a nurse educator, I’ve made a lasting impact on patients and healthcare professionals alike. My commitment to personal growth, healthy living, and empowering others fuels me. I’m proud to be a natural motivator, always pushing boundaries, building meaningful relationships, and proving that fabulous doesn’t have an expiration date. I love that over 40 only gets better with age!
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by embracing a balanced lifestyle that prioritizes self-care, health, and personal growth. Regular exercise, like walking, keeps me physically strong and energized. Mentally, I engage in lifelong learning, constantly seeking new knowledge and experiences. I also nurture relationships that bring positivity into my life and practice gratitude daily, which helps me stay grounded and confident. Most importantly, I embrace my age and all the wisdom and strength that come with it.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I win the $40,000, I would dedicate a portion to supporting breast cancer research & awareness. It is a cause dear to my heart as my own mother died at my age from breast cancer. I would like to envision a world where young women no longer lose their precious mothers to breast cancer. I would use a portion to achieve financial stability by paying off my mortgage. This would give me freedom & peace of mind, allowing me to focus on pursuing activities which enrich my life and others.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
