Owning my story & raising money for multiple sclerosis research ($5k at my 1st fundraiser!) while changing the world 1 foster dog at a time

I've settled into who I am. I'm not afraid to stand up for what I believe in or make waves. I am who I am and I'm confident in that. I won't change myself to satisfy other people like I would when I was 20.
How do you stay fabulous?I own my story. When I was 37 I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Since then I've hosted my first MS fundraiser and am a chair of a committee for the National MS Society. Being active and giving back to this community gives me power to own my story and stay positive. Additionally my job in pediatric palliative and hospice care fills me a passion to optimize quality of life for my vulnerable patients.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would donate some of it to the National MS Society, some to the Palliative and Supportive Care department at UPMC Children's Hospital, and give some to my sister to help her buy a house. I'd use what's left to pay off a couple bills.
