I love being over 40 because I have clarity on what’s important in my life. I feel more confident stepping out of my comfort zone and more comfortable in my own skin. I can model authenticity for my daughter and other young women who are finding their way. I’ve learned to ask for what I want, rather than waiting for life to happen to me. There’s a greater sense of calm and less chaos now, and I feel empowered to live with purpose and courage.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by maintaining a healthy lifestyle—eating well, moving my body daily, and getting enough rest. I also allow myself to enjoy treats without guilt, knowing balance is key. Connecting with others is another way I recharge, as I find energy and joy in meaningful conversations and relationships. Staying true to my needs, both physically and emotionally, helps me feel vibrant and balanced every day.
What would you do with the $40,000?With $40,000, I’d pay off some debt for peace of mind, set aside money for a memorable family vacation, and create a scholarship fund for art students at our local high school. Supporting young artists is close to my heart, and I’d love to give them an opportunity to pursue their passions. This mix of practical, meaningful, and fun investments would help create balance in both my life and the lives of others.
