The thing I love most about being over 40 is finally understanding who I am and what I need. I’m fine showing up as my authentic self, as it took a journey to discover who I am and fall in love with that person. I no longer need permission nor do I apologize for being myself!
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by finding time to put myself first. As a nurse, my job requires me to do what’s best for my patients. At times that can pour into my personal life and I would often put the needs of others above what was best for me. Now I take time to focus on my mental health, exercise, take ballet class, volunteer at my favorite animal rescue, get massages/facials and take vacations. I work 2 jobs so finding a happy medium that allows me to focus on myself at times is imperative.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would pay off the rest of my debt, take my mother and and sister on a girls trip and put some away for a rainy day. I would love to do some research on how to make some great investments that could turn that money into more. Ensuring that my mom and sister are comfortable, financially would mean the world to me!
