I feel like getting sober in my 50’s has been such a game changer for me. I feel like I’m living my life for the first time! 50’s are amazing! I love my life. Love trying new things at my age.
How do you stay fabulous?I try and work out 3 times a week. I now take time for myself. I get my nails done. I have my hair done. I take the time to curl my hair, wear makeup, and always try to look great!! It’s difficult to fit that it in my schedule while in school and running a business but it’s worth it!
What would you do with the $40,000?I have 3 grown children and was a single mom for most of their lives. I realized early on in my 50’s that my dream was to become a nurse in labor and delivery. Getting sober 18 months ago has allowed me to enroll in school to fulfill that dream. I am now the proud owner of my own business as a birth and postpartum doula. Winning the contest would help pay for me to get my nursing degree and building my fastly growing Doula business and in turn help many new mothers and babies.
