I embraced turning 40. I had a hard decade going through my medical journey but I wouldn't be the strong person I am today if I had not. We learn so much from our body. BUT what I learned the most is we are resilient. In closing I think my strength is what I love about growing older. STRENGTH learned from experience.
How do you stay fabulous?I keep up on current trends but find more economical ways to take care of me. I thrift a lot, Meditate and read a lot of books to relax. I love to cook! Staying fabulous also means keeping our mental health at 💯 so yes I talk to a professional and friends about the hardships of my medical journey.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I won 40K, I would pay my bills, help my daughter buy a car. AND most importantly, take care of my aging in-laws and mother. I have a plan to turn my back yard and screen room into a fab sanctuary and build 2 tiny houses for them to feel like they still live on their own, but I am available if they need me. Being over 40 and fabulous to me means taking care of me SO I CAN TAKE CARE OF THE ONES I love.
