Being over 40 is about embracing the richness of life with confidence, grace, and self-love. It entails wisdom that I can share with others. I have a foundation of knowledge that I can draw from, to care for others and myself. I try to live my life, set goals, and keep my foundation solid. I like to focus on quality relationships to help support my growth and well-being. Being over 40, I have built a strong faith in God, which allows me to operate from a place of trust, healing, and strength.

I practice staying positive and letting go of negative thoughts. I don’t sweat the small stuff. I try to focus on the things that I am grateful for, things that I have control of, and life, which brings me joy. Exercise is also a favorite; it makes me feel amazing when I am done. I like to dress for success. I enjoy music because it puts a smile on my face and takes me a step toward feeling fabulous. I have adopted a skin care regimen to make a great presentation of myself.

From birth, I was born with a congenital birth defect on my face. From childhood until adulthood, I never thought I was beautiful. As I grew older and became womanhood, I started taking better care of myself. I realized that I was just as lovely as any female with a facial birth defect. What I would do with my $40,000.00 would be to donate some money to the March of Dimes to support their Mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects and premature births.
